Samuel T. Stähle appointed as the new VP & Regional Manager of DACH

Wirepas, a global IoT connectivity provider, has appointed Samuel Stähle as the new VP & Regional Manager of the DACH region including Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Samuel has an impressive background in the IT/ICT and software industry. In his career he has contributed to smart city, smart energy and smart grid markets with his business intelligence in multiple different international environments and companies such as SIEMENS, IBM, General Electric and Trilliant Networks.

As the VP & Regional Manager of the DACH region, Samuel will focus on further developing Wirepas’s partner ecosystem and customer base in the region. The wireless technology Wirepas provides is integrated in many type of export goods manufactured in Germany. These include  for ex. luminaires, smart energy devices and sensors. Germany is the third biggest export country  in the world,  and a large quantity of the export companies are in the Wirepas target segments, making the region strategically important for Wirepas.

Germany is very strong in manufacturing high quality goods, that are going through a massive change from wired to wireless communication in the next few years. This is allows Wirepas an opening to become a key player in industry, due to wireless solutions requiring high reliability, scalability and easy installation. Wirepas is expecting DACH region to have fast growth in the IoT-market in next two to three years.
